Baghdad: The head of al-Nasr Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, met on Monday evening with the head of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from al-Abadi’s office revealed that the two leaders discussed the current situation in the country, focusing on the political and economic challenges facing Iraq in the near future. They emphasized the importance of unifying national efforts to overcome these crises and enhance stability.

The meeting also addressed strategies for tackling present challenges through constructive dialogue and cooperation among national forces. Both leaders underscored the need to prioritize the national interest above all other considerations, aiming to fulfill the aspirations of the Iraqi people for a dignified life and a prosperous future.
