Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji met with Parliament Speaker, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani. During their meeting, they reviewed the overall political and security situation both domestically and regionally.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on political efforts to support the Iraqi government’s approach to recent developments. Emphasis was placed on Iraq’s vision of promoting mutual respect with Arab and friendly countries to preserve sovereignty, security, and stability. The meeting also highlighted the importance of promoting moderate national discourse to counter extremism and foster societal peace, tolerance, and national unity.
