According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Joint Operations Command stated in a statement that “there were no infiltrations or clashes along the Iraqi-Syrian border.” It added that “security forces of various types and specialties are securing and holding the border with a reinforced force, sufficient reserves, and advanced technical monitoring resources.”
