Baghdad: The Commander of the Land Forces has issued directives emphasizing caution and the intensification of intelligence efforts to uphold security and stability across Iraq. This directive comes as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of all areas within the country.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lieutenant General Qasim Mohammed Al-Muhammadi, the Commander of the Land Forces, inspected the Iraqi-Syrian border within the responsibility sector of the 15th Infantry Division Command. Accompanied by the Commander of the Western Nineveh Operations, the Division Commander, and formation commanders, he assessed the security situation, deployment of military units, and the fortification of strategic points, hills, and headquarters of infantry companies and platoons in the region.
The statement from the Ministry of Defense highlighted that Lieutenant General Al-Muhammadi directed all personnel to remain vigilant and to enhance intelligence efforts as a means of maintaining the country’s security and stability. During his inspection tour of the responsible sectors and units, he met with fighters and acknowledged the commendable efforts of commanders and fighters at various levels.
