Qatari Prime Minister Commends Strong Coordination with Iraq on Global Issues


Doha: Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani praised the level of consultation and coordination with Iraq on regional and international issues.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, who also serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hosted the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, during his visit to Qatar. The discussions focused on reviewing cooperation relations and exploring ways to support and develop them further, while also touching upon several topics of mutual interest.



The agency reported that during the meeting, Al Thani emphasized Qatar’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with the Kurdistan Region across various fields to achieve shared goals. He highlighted the robust historical fraternal ties between Qatar and Iraq, lauding the consultation and coordination efforts between the two nations on regional and international matters with the aim of strengthening international peace and security.
