Sudanese Army Reveals Map of Military Control Areas Amid Advances

Khartoum: For the first time, the Sudanese army has published a modern map highlighting the locations of its military control, coinciding with significant advances against the Rapid Support Forces on the ground. The map, released on Tuesday, marks a strategic step in visualizing the army’s territorial gains.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Sudanese Armed Forces revealed this map through their official Facebook account. The post emphasized that the Sudanese Armed Forces, along with other regular forces and with the support of the Sudanese populace, are actively working to eliminate the militia associated with the Daglo family. The military’s efforts aim to quell the rebellion, restore security and stability, and lay the groundwork for reconstruction and development across the nation.

The Sudanese army has recently made notable progress, particularly in Khartoum, where it regained control of the presidential palace earlier this week following intense confrontations. The army has affirmed its commitment to pursuing the militias in various parts of the city to consolidate its control.

On Sunday, the Sudanese army addressed rumors regarding the territorial distribution between its forces and the Rapid Support Forces. It dismissed these reports as attempts to undermine the military’s achievements, reinforcing its narrative of successful territorial advances.
