Al-Sadr Advocates for Reform and Security in Iraq and Calls for End to Terrorism in the Middle East


Baghdad: The leader of the Sadrist Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, has expressed his hopes for an Iraq characterized by reform and security, devoid of uncontrolled weapons, while also calling for the eradication of terrorism in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sadr made these remarks during the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, emphasizing his desire for a future where Muslims experience Eid without weakness, submission, or normalization. He articulated his vision for a free and proud Gaza, and dignity for the peoples of Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, unburdened by Zionist-American terrorism. Al-Sadr also highlighted the importance of Iraq achieving reform and security, where peace prevails.
