Palestinian Journalist Mohammed al-Bardawil Killed in Israeli Airstrike


Gaza: A Palestinian journalist, Mohammed al-Bardawil, was killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted his home in the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. The attack also claimed the lives of his wife, three children, and several other family members.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Government Media Office in Gaza reported that the remains of those killed were taken to the Nasser Medical Complex in the city. Meanwhile, civil defense teams are actively searching through the debris of the destroyed home to locate a number of individuals who remain missing.

The media office further stated that with the death of Mohammed al-Bardawil, the count of Palestinian journalists who have been killed since the onset of the Zionist aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023, has increased to 209. This number includes journalists who were with their families, and many others have sustained injuries.
