Gaza City: Western media reported that 10 people were killed and 13 others were injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted a house on Al-Nafaq Street, east of Gaza City. The media further reported that three people were killed and others were injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted a house in Al-Sha’af area of Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a video clip showed the efforts of civil defense crews preventing the spread of a massive fire that broke out at dawn today on the second floor of a three-story house on Jaffa Street in Al-Tuffah area. In the northern Gaza Strip, media outlets quoted medical sources as saying that three people were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Jabalia Al-Nazla area.
In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery shelling targeted the northwest of Al-Nuseirat camp at dawn today. In the southern Gaza Strip, a number of people were injured when an Israeli quadcopter dropped bombs on a group of citizens on Al-Bahr Street in Mawasi, Khan Yunis.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health’s Emergency and Ambulance Unit, in cooperation with the Palestinian Red Crescent, evacuated two people injured when an Israeli warship targeted a fishing boat off the coast west of Mawasi, Khan Yunis. They were transferred to Nasser Medical Complex. Israeli vehicles opened heavy fire east of the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, and Israeli helicopters also fired toward the city of Rafah.
Marwan al-Hams, head of field hospitals in the Gaza Strip, stated, “We have lost medical equipment, supplies, and capabilities in this war. We have also lost approximately 99% of our therapeutic catheterization and open-heart surgery services, 83% of our orthopedic services, the most important and in-demand specialty during the war, and 73% of our general surgery services due to the loss of all medical supplies.”
