Baghdad: The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, who also serves as the Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee for the Arab Summit, announced that all necessary preparations to secure the Arab Summit have been finalized.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shammari led a comprehensive meeting that included the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations and several security leaders from various agencies responsible for safeguarding the significant event. The summit is anticipated to take place in Baghdad next May.
The Minister emphasized the thorough completion of security arrangements, ensuring everything is in place for the summit’s success. He highlighted the importance of unified security efforts and streamlined procedures to facilitate the event, aiming to project a positive image of Iraq and its hospitable citizens.
The meeting addressed several agenda items designed to organize the summit with the utmost professionalism, ensuring efficient collaboration in joint security operations.
