Dhi Qar: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has announced that the recently launched projects in Dhi Qar are funded beyond the governorate’s designated financial allocations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Prime Minister al-Sudani made this statement while leading a meeting that included the Chairman of the Dhi Qar Provincial Council, council members, and parliamentary representatives from the governorate. He emphasized that the projects are aligned with government priorities and stated that the administration has now begun the implementation phase, including the reception of company sites and finalization of contracts.

Al-Sudani highlighted that the projects, with a value of 2.195 trillion dinars, aim to enhance infrastructure and are independent of the governorate’s regular budget. These projects are intended to supplement existing infrastructure efforts in the region.
