Nabatieh: A Lebanese army officer has been killed and several others injured following an ammunition explosion in southern Lebanon.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the explosion occurred while the ammunition was being transported inside a military vehicle in the Breiqa area of Nabatieh. The incident resulted in the death of an officer and injuries to two soldiers. Additionally, several civilians were injured in the explosion.

The Lebanese Army has stated that specialized units are actively investigating the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
