Baghdad: Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on an official visit. Al-Shammari was received at the airport by the Saudi Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the visit marks a significant step in strengthening the bilateral relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. The agenda of the visit is expected to include discussions on various security and cooperative initiatives aimed at enhancing mutual interests and regional stability.
