Najaf: The Najaf Police Command has successfully apprehended an armed group involved in a raid on a residential complex, following a dispute among partners in the investment complex. The incident prompted immediate action from the local authorities.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Najaf Governorate Police Command responded swiftly to a report about the incident. The Governorate Police Commander, Major General Muhammad Jaber Dhiyab Al-Fatlawi, was on site to assess the situation. It was revealed that the group was linked to a private security company, which was accompanying one of the partners embroiled in the dispute over the residential complex.
The police took decisive action against the violators, arresting a total of 14 individuals. The group was found in possession of 15 Kalashnikov rifles, 3 pistols, and four vehicles that were used to facilitate their operations. The authorities have reinforced their commitment to not allowing any armed presence outside of legal boundaries and emphasized their dedication to preserving the safety of citizens and investment projects in the governorate.
