Baghdad: The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement announced the downing of a US drone and the targeting of two aircraft carriers in the Red and Arabian Seas. Ansar Allah military spokesman Yahya Saree said: “We were able to down an American MQ-9 drone while carrying out hostile missions over the coast of Hajjah Governorate.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Saree added in a statement: “This drone is the seventh we have downed this April and the 22nd during the Battle of the Promised Victory and the Holy Jihad.” He continued: “We attacked the US aircraft carriers Harry Truman and Carl Vinson, as well as other naval vessels in the Red and Arabian Seas, with cruise missiles and drones.”
