Nineveh: Nineveh Police forces arrested a gang of three individuals after they stole a large sum of money from a house in the Andalusia neighborhood, east of Mosul.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the gang stormed a residential building in the aforementioned neighborhood and stole 100 million Iraqi dinars, before security forces were able to track them down based on accurate intelligence information and intensive field monitoring.

The source added that security forces were able to seize part of the stolen money from the perpetrators, along with tools used in the robbery. It was pointed out that initial investigations revealed that the accused were planning to carry out other operations in different areas of the city.

The source stated that the detainees were transferred to the competent judicial authorities to complete the legal procedures against them.
