Khanaqin: The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, highlighted the urgency of creating job opportunities for youth and enhancing their skills during his visit to Khanaqin District. He urged for the acceleration of urban project completion and infrastructure development, noting the critical role of parliament in addressing citizens’ needs and enacting supportive legislation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Rashid, during his meeting with local officials and political representatives in Khanaqin, affirmed the ongoing collaboration between the Presidency of the Republic and the House of Representatives to pass laws that directly impact citizens’ lives. He stressed the importance of preserving the democratic system and reinforcing its foundations.

The President further called on both local and international companies to invest in the governorate. He emphasized the potential benefits of productive and industrial projects, which could rejuvenate the local economy and increase employment opportunities for the residents of the governorate.
