The tribal leaders of Diyala expressed their unwavering support for state institutions and their dedication to strengthening civil peace and social cohesion within the governorate. They welcomed the President’s visit and pledged their readiness to maintain security and resolve community disputes through dialogue.
Furthermore, the tribal representatives briefed President Rashid on pressing challenges in the agricultural sector, particularly water scarcity and inadequate support for farmers. The President reiterated the importance of empowering farmers with necessary resources to ensure food security and stimulate economic growth in agricultural regions, particularly in Diyala, which holds significant agricultural potential.
