Beijing: Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed on Wednesday that tariffs “harm” the global multilateral trading system, as he received his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, in Beijing, according to state media.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, China’s Xinhua News Agency quoted President Xi as telling President Aliyev that tariffs and trade wars “undermine the legitimate rights and interests of all countries, harm the multilateral trading system, and impact the global economic order.”
