Gaza: Health Authorities in Gaza announced yesterday that 84 Palestinians were killed and 168 others were injured in a series of airstrikes launched by Israeli forces on various areas of the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. The Health Authorities said that “the martyrs and injured arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours,” noting that among them were women and children, while a number of victims remain under the rubble.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, five Palestinians from one family were killed yesterday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted their tent in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army bombed a tent belonging to a Palestinian family in the Mawasi area, killing a man, his pregnant wife, and their three children, according to the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA).

This brings the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 to 51,439 martyrs and 117,416 wounded. In this context, the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced yesterday that the number of journalist martyrs has risen to 212 since October 7, 2023, following the death of journalist Saeed Abu Hassanein, who succumbed to injuries sustained in a previous bombing.
