Bandar Abbas: The Iranian Rescue and Relief Organization announced today, Saturday, the death of four citizens in the port explosion in Bandar Abbas.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the organization stated, “The death toll from Shahid Rajaee Port explosion has reached four.” The incident has also resulted in a significant number of injuries.

The organization added that “the number of injured in Shahid Rajaee Port explosion has risen to 561.” The explosion has caused widespread concern due to the high number of casualties.

Iranian government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani has addressed the situation, noting that “announcing the cause of Shahid Rajaee Port incident will take time.” Investigations are ongoing to determine the factors that led to the explosion.
