Washington: Iraq’s oil exports to the United States rose last week as reported by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the EIA announced that Iraq’s oil exports to the United States increased last week. The EIA’s data revealed that the average US crude oil imports from ten major countries amounted to 4.831 million barrels per day. This marks a decrease of 255,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week’s average of 5.086 million barrels per day.

The report further noted that the average of Iraq’s oil exports to the United States amounted to 170,000 barrels per day, which is an increase compared to the previous week’s average of 136,000 barrels per day. The EIA also indicated that the largest oil imports to the United States last week came from Canada, followed by Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Ecuador.
