Baghdad: The Head of the Hajj and Umrah Commission, Sami Al-Masoudi, has called upon Iraqi pilgrims to adhere to the guidelines and instructions set by the Saudi authorities during the Hajj season. He highlighted the importance of ensuring the success of the current season by avoiding the display of slogans and pictures.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Masoudi delivered this message at the Commission’s annual conference for Hajj season guides. The event, sponsored by the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH), was held under the theme “Religious Guidance: A Duty and A Honor.” Al-Masoudi stressed the need for collaboration between guides and campaign contractors to provide optimal services for Iraqi pilgrims, in line with the Commission’s yearly commitments.
Salim Al-Amiri, an official in the Guidance and Research Department at the Commission, stated that the Commission has developed an extensive program to assist 40,000 Iraqi pilgrims. This program involves 900 male and female guides who are dedicated t
o delivering religious advice and guidance throughout the pilgrimage.
