Hillah: The River Police of the Babylon Police Command recovered three bodies from the Euphrates River on Monday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babylon Police Media Director Brigadier General Adel Al Husseini reported that the River Police recovered the bodies of two young men who drowned while swimming in the Euphrates River, which flows through Al Qasim district, south of Hillah. Their families reported their drowning.

Al Husseini added that the police also recovered an unidentified body of a young man from the Euphrates River in the Al Mahawil district, north of Hillah. Citizens reported this incident, and the police subsequently transferred the bodies to the forensic medicine department.
