President Emphasizes Improved Services and Living Conditions for Sinjar


Baghdad: The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, has underscored the importance of providing the best services to the city of Sinjar and enhancing the living conditions for its residents. This was highlighted during his meeting with a delegation from the Sinjar Coordination Committee of National Components and Forces at the Baghdad Palace on Monday.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, a presidential statement revealed that President Rashid paid tribute to the heroic stances and sacrifices of the people of Sinjar during their resistance against ISIS terrorism and their subsequent efforts in rebuilding the city and its infrastructure. He emphasized the necessity for national efforts to deliver optimal services to Sinjar and expressed the Presidency’s commitment to monitoring the conditions of the displaced. Additionally, he stressed the importance of investigating the fate of kidnapped Yazidis with the appropriate authorities to resolve this significant humanitarian issue.



The President highlighted the need for initiatives aimed at improving the city’s conditions, enhancing citizens’ living standards, and ensuring the provision of basic services. He also mentioned the importance of compensating those affected and offering necessary support across various sectors to bolster security and stability throughout the region.



Members of the delegation expressed their gratitude for President Rashid’s concern for Sinjar and the rights of its citizens. They reaffirmed their commitment to peaceful coexistence among all community components.
