Basra: The prices of Basra Heavy and Medium crude oils declined, coinciding with the decline in global oil prices.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the price of Basra Heavy crude fell by $1.79 to $60.12 per barrel, while the price of Basra Medium crude fell by $1.79 to $63.57 per barrel.

Oil prices fell more than $2 per barrel in early Asian trading on Monday, as the OPEC+ alliance moved to accelerate the pace of increasing production. Brent crude futures fell $2.15 per barrel, or 3.51%, to $59.14 per barrel, while the price of US West Texas Intermediate crude reached $56.03 per barrel, down $2.26, or 3.88%.
