Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has highlighted the strategic significance of the development road project, spearheaded by Iraq and Turkey, as one of the most crucial initiatives in the Middle East. In his press statements, al-Sudani underscored the project’s potential to enhance regional stability through strengthened Iraqi-Turkish relations.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sudani emphasized the importance of fostering ties with Turkey, describing it as a “very important country” for Iraq. He expressed a desire for the relationship between the two nations to serve as a vital component of the regional stability equation. The Prime Minister elaborated on the development road project’s strategic role, particularly for Turkey, positioning it as a key endeavor for regional countries.
