Baghdad: Defense Minister Thabet Mohammed Al-Abbasi met with Lieutenant General Lukas Schweizers, the Commander of the NATO Mission in Iraq, at the Ministry headquarters. The meeting focused on reviewing the tasks carried out by the NATO Mission in Iraq and discussing ways to strengthen joint cooperation between Iraq and NATO.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Minister Al-Abbasi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Lieutenant General Schweizers as the latter concludes his duties in Iraq.
