Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has instructed all state institutions and departments to bolster their efforts and coordination to ensure the success of the upcoming Arab Summit.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s media office released a statement highlighting that Al-Sudani chaired a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the final preparations and arrangements for the Arab Summit and the Development and Economic Summit, which are set to take place in the capital, Baghdad, on Saturday.
The statement outlined Al-Sudani’s review of security, administrative, and logistical plans to secure the summit. He also assessed the organizational and technical aspects to ensure a welcoming reception and effective organization for the conference’s activities.
Al-Sudani emphasized the importance of the event, directing all state institutions and departments to enhance their work and coordination in line with their specific roles. The summit is viewed as a significant occasion that underscores Iraq’s standing and its pivotal role at both Arab and regional levels.
