Brussels: The European Union has announced its decision to review the association agreement with Israel, a pivotal free trade agreement between the two entities, due to Israel’s recent prohibition on the entry of aid into Gaza. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the review follows a proposal by the Netherlands, which successfully garnered support within the EU. Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp emphasized that this decision was directly linked to the aid blockade.
