Baghdad: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Legal and Multilateral Affairs, Shorsh Khalid Saeed, discussed with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Khalid Ahmed Al-Mansour, mechanisms for mutual support in nominations for international positions. A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Legal and Multilateral Affairs, Shorsh Khalid Saeed, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Khalid Ahmed Al-Mansour, at the ministry’s headquarters on Thursday. During the meeting, they discussed mechanisms for mutual support between the two sides in nominations for international positions, to serve the common interests of the two brotherly countries.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening joint cooperation and developing bilateral relations in various fields, in addition to exchanging views on current developments in the region. For his part, the Bahraini Ambassador offered his congratulations on the success of the Arab Summit held in Baghdad, praising Iraq’s efforts in organizing the summit and its positive outcomes.
