Arar: The Hajj and Umrah Commission announced that all land convoys of pilgrims have successfully passed through the Arar border crossing.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Commission stated in a recent statement that approximately 1,050 buses carrying pilgrims have left Iraqi territory through the Arar border crossing. Most of these buses have arrived in Medina and Mecca, with the last convoys expected to reach Medina tomorrow, Saturday.

The Commission highlighted the efforts of its staff, who worked tirelessly for nine days to ensure the success of the land convoy plan and facilitate the smooth passage of pilgrim convoys into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Commission also praised the role of the security committee responsible for the Hajj convoys and its affiliates, who contributed to ensuring protection and facilitating the movement of pilgrims along the land route.

Additionally, the Commission commended the efforts of the health cadres and workers in the city of pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims and at the Arar border crossing. Their contributions in various service capacities were essential to the accomplishment of this national mission.
