Baghdad: The Ministry of Oil announced today the final statistics of exported quantities during last April, noting that revenues amounted to approximately $7 billion.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated that the total oil exports and revenues achieved for last April, as per the final statistics issued by the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO), amounted to 100,953,282 barrels of crude oil, with revenues reaching more than $6,738,309,000.

The Ministry further detailed that the total quantities of crude oil exported from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 99,752,879 barrels. In contrast, exports from the Qayyarah field totaled 900,584 barrels, and the quantity of exports to Jordan reached 299,819 barrels.

The statement emphasized that the Ministry of Oil undertakes this monthly measure as part of its commitment to keeping the public informed about export operations.
