Erbil: The head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, Muhammad Semaan Agha, recently met with the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Masoud Barzani, in Erbil. The meeting focused on the political and security situation in Iraq, aiming to enhance dialogue and coordination between the Turkmen Front and the KDP for the benefit of Iraqi components, particularly the Kurds and Turkmen.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions addressed the ongoing issues in Kirkuk Governorate. Both leaders highlighted the necessity of a just resolution and comprehensive representation for all communities in the governorate. They emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to maintain stability, foster coexistence, and improve services for the local population.
The meeting also covered upcoming electoral entitlements and the Iraqi Turkmen Front’s participation in the governorates of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.
