Diwaniyah: Dozens of residents from the four Sadur neighborhoods gathered in the center of Diwaniyah Governorate to protest against the deteriorating electricity supply amid soaring temperatures. The demonstrators expressed their dissatisfaction by blocking the main road and burning tires.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the residents demanded immediate intervention from the central government, the Ministry of Electricity, and the local government to address the electricity supply issues. The protest highlights the growing frustration among locals as they endure high temperatures without a reliable power supply.
