Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul-Ghani engaged in discussions with Mohammed Al-Hassan, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), focusing on Iraq’s role in international forums in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Oil detailed that Abdul-Ghani hosted Al-Hassan for a meeting aimed at addressing issues related to energy. The discussions emphasized Iraq’s contributions to international efforts in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and its commitment to protecting the environment and climate.
