Two Killed, One Injured in Israeli Drone Strike on Southern Lebanon

Beirut: Two people were killed and another injured in an Israeli raid on southern Lebanon, as the Israeli entity renewed its attacks on the region. The incident occurred when an Israeli drone targeted the Jan’am area in the town of Shia.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Lebanese National News Agency reported the attack, which highlights ongoing tensions and violations of the ceasefire agreement announced on November 27. Despite the agreement’s terms, which include the Israeli occupation’s withdrawal from the invaded villages and towns within 60 days, Israeli forces remain present in over 30 Lebanese villages and towns.

These incursions have prompted international calls urging Israel to respect the ceasefire terms. There is a growing demand for measures to stabilize the situation in southern Lebanon and ensure the protection of civilians from further hostilities.
