Iranian Nuclear Talks with US Anticipated in Oman Next Sunday

Tehran: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei announced today that Tehran will soon present a counterproposal to the United States in the framework of the nuclear talks via the Sultanate of Oman. Baqaei stated that the next round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States is planned for next Sunday in Oman, according to the ministry’s Telegram account.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, US President Donald Trump commented on the situation, saying: “I am doing a lot of work with Iran, but their negotiating team is very difficult. Tehran is demanding things that cannot be met. We have a meeting with Iran next Thursday.” The President emphasized that the United States will not allow Iran to enrich uranium, highlighting the potential risks involved by stating, “the alternatives are very dangerous,” as he put it.
