Baghdad: Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh announced on Wednesday the “successful test of a missile with a two-ton warhead.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Nasirzadeh said in statements on the sidelines of a government meeting that “the recent threats issued by the enemies will not remain unanswered,” noting that “Iranian operational forces are fully equipped.”

He added: “It is sometimes said that if negotiations do not bear fruit, matters will lead to confrontation. I say on behalf of the Iranian people: If a confrontation is imposed on us, we will strike our targets forcefully, the enemy will suffer heavy losses, and America must realize that it must leave the region.”

The Iranian Defense Minister emphasized that “all US bases are within Iran’s reach, and all these bases in the host country will be targeted without hesitation.”
