Baghdad: The State Administration Coalition has affirmed its categorical rejection of the violation of Iraqi airspace and its use in attacks perpetrated by the Zionist entity against Iran.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister’s Media Office detailed that the coalition held its regular meeting with the presence of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani. The meeting focused on regional developments, particularly the repercussions of Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its implications for security and stability in Iraq and the broader region.

The coalition condemned the Zionist aggression and expressed solidarity with the Iranian people, who are under attack following violations in Gaza, Syria, and Yemen. It called for a unified stance against these attacks and transgressions. The coalition reiterated its rejection of using Iraqi airspace for attacks on Iran and supported efforts to prevent Iraqi land, waters, and airspace from being used as launch points for attacks against neighboring countries.

The coalition expressed support for the government’s efforts and measures against the Zionist entity’s violation of Iraqi airspace sovereignty and its diplomatic endeavors at both regional and international levels. As Iraq chairs the Arab Summit, the coalition emphasized the importance of preventing the expansion of the war zone and striving to impose security and stability.

The coalition also stressed the need for political unity in Iraq to counter the negative regional impact, prioritizing national interests above all else, and the importance of joint efforts to protect the country from the repercussions of wars and crises. It underlined the importance of unity, national harmony, and security stability, and advocated for a media discourse that aligns with the official state narrative.
