Presidents of the Republic and State of Law Coalition Condemn Zionist Aggression Against Iran


Baghdad: President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, and the head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, have affirmed that the Zionist aggression against Iran poses a serious threat to the security and stability of the region. The discussions took place during a meeting held at al-Maliki’s office, where both leaders addressed pressing political developments and regional challenges.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media office of Nouri al-Maliki released a statement detailing the meeting. It was noted that the dialogue focused on the ongoing Zionist attacks on Iran and the implications for regional stability. Both leaders emphasized the necessity of safeguarding Iraq’s security, consolidating the internal front, and promoting national unity to face current challenges effectively.



The statement further highlighted the importance of adopting dialogue and maintaining calm to manage crises. By using reason and diplomacy, the leaders aim to protect the rights of peoples and the security of states, thereby preventing further tension and escalation in the region.



Additionally, the statement conveyed a strong condemnation of the Zionist aggression, labeling it as a significant threat to regional security and a flagrant violation of international law. Both leaders reiterated the need for collective action to address these challenges and uphold peace and stability in the region.
