Geneva: Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, Ali Bahreini, revealed on Wednesday that his country will respond to the Israeli strikes “forcefully and without restraint.” The ambassador told reporters: “We will not show any hesitation in defending our people, our nation, and our land. We will respond seriously, forcefully, and without restraint.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Bahreini further stated: “If we come to the conclusion that America is directly involved in the attacks on Iran, we will begin to respond to them, and we have sent a message to Washington that we will respond with extreme firmness.”

Israel has been launching strikes on Iran, stating that it wants to prevent Tehran from obtaining a nuclear bomb. In response, Iran has been carrying out missile attacks on Israeli territory.
