Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared that Turkey’s institutions are prepared to counter the potential fallout from Israeli actions against Iran. During a speech to members of the ruling Justice and Development Party, Erdogan emphasized Iran’s right to defend itself against what he termed Israeli aggression, underscoring the need for Turkey to remain vigilant given the current regional tensions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan asserted that Iran possesses a legitimate right to protect itself from Israeli actions, which he labeled as state terrorism. This statement followed his previous remarks condemning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a significant threat to regional stability. He even compared Netanyahu’s actions in Gaza to those of Adolf Hitler during World War II, accusing him of committing genocide.

Erdogan further noted that Turkey is keeping a close watch on Israel’s assaults on Iran, emphasizing that all national institutions are prepared to address any consequences that might arise for Turkey. He highlighted concerns over Israel’s decision to attack Iran, a neighboring country, before the completion of nuclear negotiations between Washington and Tehran. Erdogan called for diplomacy to resolve these tensions and expressed Turkey’s readiness to assist in finding a peaceful resolution.
