Diwaniyah: The Diwaniyah River Police discovered a dismembered body in the governorate’s river near the Shalabiya area in the city center. The body was found cut in two, raising concerns among local authorities and residents.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source revealed that the body was wrapped in nylon bags. Following the discovery, the body was transferred to the forensic medicine department at Diwaniyah Hospital. An investigation has been initiated to uncover the circumstances surrounding this incident.
