Baghdad: The Ministry of Oil has declared the final statistics for the total oil exports and revenues for the month of May, as reported by the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry revealed in a statement that crude oil exports reached a total of 101,630,925 barrels, generating revenues exceeding 6,361,636,000 dollars. These figures highlight the scale of Iraq’s oil export operations for the specified period.

The statistics further detailed that the majority of the crude oil exports, amounting to 100,365,335 barrels, originated from the oil fields located in central and southern Iraq. Additionally, the Qayyarah field contributed 955,684 barrels to the total exports, while 309,906 barrels were specifically exported to Jordan.

The Ministry emphasized its commitment to transparency by implementing a monthly update on export operations, ensuring that the public remains informed about the country’s oil export activities.
