Kirkuk: A joint security force discovered an explosive device during an operation conducted south of Kirkuk.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, detachments from the 16th Brigade of the Northern and East Tigris Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces led the operation in areas south of Kirkuk Governorate, specifically targeting the Yarghul and Abu Shahir sectors.

The Popular Mobilization Authority reported that the explosive device was found in collaboration with the Counter-Terrorism Directorate in Daquq. Specialized explosives teams successfully dismantled and disposed of the device, ensuring the safety of the area without any casualties.
