Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced the downing of 20 Ukrainian drones in the past 24 hours, most of them in the Kursk region in southwestern Russia.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated that their air defenses successfully intercepted 20 Ukrainian drones. Of these, 14 drones were shot down in the Kursk region, while two were intercepted in the Moscow region. Additionally, one drone each was downed in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Oryol, and Smolensk regions.
This development highlights the ongoing tensions and military engagements between Russia and Ukraine, with drone incursions becoming a frequent occurrence in the conflict-affected areas. The Russian Defense Ministry continues to monitor and respond to such activities to maintain regional security.
