Amman: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and Jordanian King Abdullah II discussed, in a phone call on Wednesday, ways to support de-escalation efforts in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the phone call was aimed at exploring strategies to alleviate tensions in the area.

During the call, King Abdullah II emphasized the importance of increasing Arab efforts to consolidate the ceasefire between Iran and Israel. He urged for effective collaboration with the international community to halt the conflict in Gaza, aiming for a comprehensive calm. Abdullah II also highlighted the potential risks of the ongoing escalation in the West Bank and occupied Quds, warning about its impact on regional security and stability.
