Tehran: The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced today the martyrdom of Major General Mohammad Saeed Izadi, also known as Hajj Ramadan, following his injury in an Israeli airstrike. This announcement comes after the general underwent three unsuccessful operations in an attempt to save his life.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Revolutionary Guards confirmed that Major General Izadi succumbed to his wounds resulting from the Israeli aggression. The statement noted that the attempts to treat his injuries were not successful, leading to his eventual martyrdom.

The statement further detailed that Major General Izadi will be laid to rest at the shrine of Lady Masoumeh in the city of Qom. The burial will take place following the conclusion of the funeral ceremonies.
