Suicide Attack in Northwestern Pakistan Claims Lives of Soldiers and Civilians


North waziristan: Forty-two soldiers and civilians were killed and wounded in a suicide attack in northwestern Pakistan on Saturday. A local government official in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, reported that a suicide bomber deliberately rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a military convoy, resulting in the deaths of 13 soldiers and injuring 10 army personnel and 19 civilians.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the devastating explosion also caused significant structural damage in the vicinity. A police officer confirmed that the blast’s force led to the collapse of roofs on two houses, resulting in injuries to six children.



This incident marks a significant escalation in violence in the region, raising concerns over the security situation and prompting calls for increased vigilance and protective measures for both military personnel and civilians. The authorities are currently investigating the attack to identify the perpetrators and prevent future incidents.
